Inner Sunset Edwardian Full Home Remodel

In renovating this classic San Francisco Edwardian Inner Sunset home, we had the opportunity to work closely with the design team and the clients to merge the traditional and the modern to create a beautifully updated residence. During this 9-month remodel of the entire home, we:

  • Renovated the kitchen and installed all-new custom cabinetry

  • Added a new master bathroom and closet

  • Updated the powder room and remodeled guest bathroom

  • Reconfigured interior stairway

  • Rebuilt historic exterior entry stairs

  • Installed new wood flooring to match the existing

  • Repaired and refinished the original floors

  • Replaced the interior doors and installed new period-appropriate hardware

  • Replicated classic trim, casings, and crown molding

  • Built a custom mantelpiece

  • Installed custom built-in cabinetry in the living room

  • Constructed utility shelving in the laundry area

  • Replaced rotted siding and framing

  • Installed new high-efficiency furnace and duct work

  • Rewired the home and upgraded the electrical service

We were fortunate to work closely with the architectural team of Samaha + Hart to realize their designs and the homeowner’s visions for their beautiful new space where old meets new in an authentic and seamless fashion.
